Microsoft Internet Explorer是微软发布的非常流行的WEB浏览器。

Internet Explorer保存多部分HTML(.mht)文件的方式存在漏洞，攻击者可以通过创建特制的Web页面来利用这个漏洞，如果用户受骗将这个页面保存为多部分HTML文件的话，就会导致内存破坏。成功利用这个漏洞的攻击者可以完全控制受影响的系统，但必须相当程度的用户交互才能利用这个漏洞。

临时解决方法：

* 不要在Internet Explorer中使用”另存为…”命令将不可信任的网页保存为”Web档案，单一文件(*.mht)”。

Microsoft已经为此发布了一个安全公告(MS06-021)以及相应补丁:

* 配置Internet Explorer在运行活动脚本之前要求提示，或在Internet和本地Intranet安全区中禁用活动脚本。

* 将Internet和本地Intranet安全区设置为”高”以在运行ActiveX控件和活动脚本之前要求提示。

* 禁止在Internet Explorer中运行COM对象。
