Linux kernel是美国Linux基金会发布的开源操作系统Linux所使用的内核。NFSv4 implementation是其中的一个分布式文件系统协议。

Linux kernel 3.3.1之前版本中的fs/jbd2/transaction.c中的journal_unmap_buffer函数中存在漏洞，该漏洞源于未正确处理_Delay和_Unwritten缓冲区头部状态。本地攻击者可通过该漏洞利用安装日志ext4的系统文件的存在，导致拒绝服务（系统崩溃）。
