dhcpcd是一款RFC2131和RFC1541兼容DHCP客户端守护程序，用于自动配置IPv4网络。

dhcpcd 3.2.3版本中的socket.c内的get_packe类函数中存在远程基于栈的缓冲区溢出漏洞，该漏洞源于对用户提供的输入在复制到固定长度缓存区之前未经正确的边界检查。成功利用该漏洞可允许远程攻击者在应用程序上下文中执行任意代码，攻击失败将导致拒绝服务。
